How does my dog know when I'm coming home?

- Sally P, Norwich

I oftens gets asked about this. Humans love the idea that we share a special bond with them, a connection that tells us when they is finishing work and on their way home, so we can sits in the window and wag our tails when they arrive. They thinks we is psychic.

What actually happens is that we gets hungry, so we makes sure to snooze near the door so we can hears you coming. (You really needs to get your exhaust fixed, by the way). Then we can jump up in the window- quick as a flash- and look like we knew you was coming! This means you gives us cuddles and noms because you thinks we is clever. Well, we is, but we ain't psychic. Just hungry. Sorry.
