My dog hogs the sofa and won't move when I ask him- what should I do?

- Adam H, Lincoln

If your dog is comfy on the sofa, you should leave him there. You can ask him if he'd like to share (promise him cuddles and ear-scratching; that sometimes works, as do sausages) but, if he says no, you should respect his decision and not make a fool of yourself by yelling and stamping your foot. On no account grab his collar and pull him off the sofa, unless you likes "dirty protests" in your shoes. You has been warned.

If you really needs to sits down, then sits on the floor.
